Shandong XX Kiln Integrated Ceramic Catalytic Flue Gas Purification Project (Desulfurization, Denitrification & Dust Removal)

During 2018-2020, Zhongtian Well executed contracts with Shandong ​**** Co., Ltd. for ​four coal-gas-fired glass kilns employing our ​WK-CeraCAT ceramic catalytic tube-based multi-pollutant treatment system.

Project Challenges:
The coal-gas fueled kilns generated flue gas with:
• ​High NOx (800-1,500mg/Nm³)
• ​High SOx (1,000-3,000mg/Nm³)
• ​Elevated alkali/heavy metals (K, Na, Pb, Zn)
• ​Extreme dust loading (15-30g/Nm³)
• ​High viscosity causing system fouling

Technical Solution:
The WK-CeraCAT system achieved:
✔ ​SOx <50mg/Nm³ (98.3% removal)
✔ ​NOx <100mg/Nm³ (93.7% removal)
✔ ​Particulates <10mg/Nm³
✔ ​Heavy metal capture >99%​

Industry Significance:
This project established the ​first successful application of ceramic catalytic technology for:
✓ ​Coal-gas fired glass furnaces
✓ ​Simultaneous treatment of complex pollutants
✓ ​Meeting ultra-low emission standards

The results provide ​critical technical validation for producer-gas fueled industrial processes, demonstrating ​reliable compliance with China's most stringent environmental regulations (GB 26453-2011).
